Trapezoid magic on Traunsee
Every s: stebler product tells its own story.
In Gmunden, on the shores of Lake Traunsee in Austria, a large trapezoidal roof window was installed on the town hall square. This bespoke solution blends seamlessly into the building’s historic architecture.
A new approach to the preservation of cultural heritage:
The distinctive geometry was precisely adapted to the form of the historic tower and developed in close coordination with the heritage conservation authorities. Despite the complex roof structure, our team succeeded in achieving a minimally invasive integration that preserves the building’s architectural character.
The result:
A space that remains filled with natural light even when closed, and, when opened, offers a breathtaking view of Lake Traunsee — where architecture and nature meet.
